GPS Photo Documentation App
FieldFirst Camera simplifies photo documentation and enhances project efficiency.
Here’s a step-by-step look at how it works:
1. Open the Job and Access the Camera
- Start by opening the specific job within the system. Find the FieldFirst Camera button associated with the job.
2. Choose a Category
- Select a category related to the task or photo you are documenting. The app will automatically populate the job details, ensuring all relevant information is included without the need for manual entry.
3. Snap a Photo and Upload
- After selecting the category, take a photo within the app. Once you’re ready to upload, simply click “YES” to send the photo to the system.
4. Automatic Upload Process
- Upon clicking “YES,” the photo will attempt to upload. You’ll see a red up-arrow icon in the top-left corner indicating the upload process is underway.
- The red chain icon confirms that the app is connected to the company’s database, ensuring your photos are uploaded to the correct location.
- It may be important not to change the description as it keeps all photos organized and in the correct job folder.
5. Queue and Upload Status
- Click the red up-arrow icon to view photos queued for upload, along with their status (whether the upload was successful or failed).
- Before leaving the app, verify that no photos are still marked as “Uploading…” to avoid incomplete uploads.
6. Manage Categories & Uploads
- If you need to change the category, you can easily do so without having to click a different button. Simply select the new category, and the photo will be updated accordingly for seamless organization.
